
Our Christmas celebration is a blend of Venezuelan and European customs. Food is one of the most important aspects and our Holiday table includes a bit of the two traditions: Hallacas, Vol-au-vent, Pan de Jamón, Ensalada de Gallina, Stollen, Lebkuchen, Torta Negra, accompanied by all kinds of Winter drinks. I'll be showing you a sampler during this Holiday Season.
Mousse de Parchita or Passion fruit mousse is a light and refreshing dessert. We accompany it with a very light creme anglaise. This is where I usually mess up but this time it worked!
